Tania Hamilton joined Gulf Coast JFCS in 2005 and has devoted her career to improving outcomes for transitioning foster care youth and those with mental health issues. In her role at Gulf Coast JFCS, Ms. Hamilton oversees the Family Skill Builders, Healthy Youth Transitions, Young Adult Transitional Program, and Elder Support Program. She also oversees our Adult Residential Treatment and Stabilization Center (ARTS), a 16-bed-level one state-licensed intensive residential program in Broward County for adults 18+ years of age with severe and persistent mental illness and who may have co-occurring issues.

A Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor of Mental Health Counseling, Ms. Hamilton received her master’s degree in mental health counseling at NOVA Southeastern University and her B.A. in Social Psychology at Florida Atlantic University.

She is a lifelong resident of Broward County.
