Safe at Home Central Florida provides families in Osceola County with a way to stabilize and rehabilitate homes where child abuse and neglect have occurred. The in-home program offers intensive intervention and case management, while keeping families together.
A Safe at Home team is assigned to each family for up to four months. Using a combination of education and crisis counseling, our staff helps the home become a healthy place for children to grow. The family is then linked to community services that can ensure the children continue to thrive in a stable and safe environment.
Most families can make their homes nurturing and abuse-free, without the additional trauma caused by separating children from their parents. The skills family members learn in our program help them create a better future.
