I want to volunteer

We are proud of the ongoing commitment demonstrated by hundreds of volunteers each year. Consider becoming a volunteer. Example of volunteer opportunities include:

Becoming a special friend to an at-risk child, including Jewish and non-Jewish youth from single parent families, children with serious childhood diseases; children at-risk of truancy and delinquency; and children who are in state protective services supervision or in foster care due to abuse or neglect.

Providing professional services for victims of torture and genocide such as legal assistance, medical and psychiatric treatment, counseling and interpretation.

Providing in-home companionship and support for frail and isolated elders and the disabled.

Helping stock and supply our food pantries located in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco Counties.

Providing telephone and clerical support for our programs that help people in need.

Providing companionship and support for a mentally ill older adult.

Professional counseling opportunities for bachelor and master degree candidates, and masters-level therapists seeking state licensure.

Assisting with family life education programs to strengthen the Jewish family.

Helping wrap and deliver holiday gifts to needy families and food baskets for the Jewish Holidays.
